In 2025, Paul Benedikt Fischer obtained his doctoral degree from RWTH Aachen University. His doctoral studies focused on the modeling of the dynamics of quasiparticles in superconducting systems and their influence on superconducting devices. He joined Prof. Eichler’s group in June 2026 as a postdoctoral researcher, aiming to develop and improve novel superconducting qubits.
